December updates!

I'm so sorry that I haven't been online in so long! My life has just been completely hectic!
Anyway, I have a few updates for you!

  • So! Firstly; I went into a hostel for three weeks, before getting a flat. Lucas came with me. Basically, we had to go to the council and tell them we'd both been kicked out of our homes. They'd then phone our parents and check if this was true, our parents had to tell them that yes we were kicked out, no we weren't allowed back, and yes we're allowed to share a room together and get a place to share at the end of it. So anyway, they did. And we went into a hostel. Luckily, as I said, we were only there for three weeks before we got a place sorted. It's a small, two bedroom, flat and it's perfect for us! I'll maybe update with some photos, I'm not sure yet because it's not quite as clean as I'd like it! But we'll see :)
  • Secondly, I'm twenty five weeks pregnant! It seems like my pregnancy is rushing by! I'm so excited to meet my little princess! On my due date hopefully! And yes, you read right! The next update was that my baby is in fact a GIRL! We have chosen her name, Kate Elizabeth :) We chose this because it's traditional and old and we both like it :) We think it's elegant and will hopefully add elegance to our daughter :) Ha ha! Wishful thinking probably, but we hope it suits her!
  • Thirdly, we have a dog! It's a girl, British bulldog, and called Rosie :) I absolutely love her to bits! She's so gorgeous! She's still a puppy at the moment, so obviously she has a lot of energy! It's hard to keep up with her when I have such a growing bump, but I wouldn't change her for the world! We've only had her a week and a half, and I'm in love already! She is a pure breed, and her brothers and sisters were sold for £1,600! There were two left, Rosie and her sister. But the owners let us have Rosie for £100 as a favour to Lucas' mother! Absolute bargain! We had her for so cheap because Rosie's grandmother was actually a rescued dog that Lucas' mother rescued, and gave to him for free because she knew he was a breeder :) I love how they have so many connections! Ha ha! AND SHE SNORES! Awh! It's the cutest thing ever! Ha ha ha I can't believe how lucky I really am!
  • And finally! IT SNOWED! Haha I'm hoping this means we're having a white Christmas, since it's only eight days away! Can never be too sure with this weather though to be honest! For Christmas, everyone's concentrating on giving me presents, and not the baby. I think it's a way of them saying it's my last Christmas as a child, so make the most of it. Anyway, Lucas and I couldn't resist and we have ordered a few bits and bobs for Kate when she's here :) Not Christmas presents as such, but we've taken the money out of our overall Christmas budget :) - I'll add some photos of what we've ordered :)

PHOTOS:-

I tried to scan it so it included everything and it was clear, but it chopped the top off and a bit of the bottom off :( Oh well, at least it's clear! It's well and truely a baby girl! Ha!

Meet little Rosie! Isn't she just ADORABLE! Oh, she's so cute!

These are bibs which catch food. They won't be on the site for long so we thought we'd grab them while we could, just because they're so cute! I love these! Can't wait until they arrive and we see them in real life!

These are such gorgeous bibs! The little gap in the bottom right bib is actually a mirror :) They're so cute, I think they're so girly and I can't wait to see my little princess in them! Such a girly girl she's going to be!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS DRESS. I think it's so gorgeous, we got it in 3-6 months so she can fit into it when she's a bit bigger. I just love it so much! Lucas isn't fussed, he said it'll make her look like a gypsy! :S. But whatever, I think it's absolutely stunning and she'll look so cute wearing it! He he :)

Lucas chose this :) He's putting most of his money into these items, so I thought he should choose some too! I think he made a great choice :) It's gorgeous! But it's not pink ;) Ha ha! I think we got this in newborn :)

Ignore the 20% off sign :') That's one of the reasons why we got it, ha! It's on offer. And Lucas chose it because it matches the outfit above, lol! It's a cute rattle :) Would have looked better in pink though, in my opinion!

Yes, more offers! Ha. We're not that cheap, honest! It's gorgeous, and I love it! I always had a blanky/teddy as a baby so I thought Kate should have one too. I love this one, it's so cute! And PINK! Ha ;)

Ha! Cheapys again! Lmao. We weren't going to get any toys, but when we saw them on offer we couldn't resist :) Lucas chose this too, I think he made a great choice here :) Blocks are a typical baby present, and these colours are just SO gorgeous! I love pinks and browns together! :)

Sixteen weeks.

I'm now over sixteen weeks! Which is crazy! I've decided to upload bump photos :)
So please, don't take them. They're tagged in case, anyway.

Fourteen weeks :)

I am now fourteen weeks and three days pregnant! The closer it gets to twenty weeks the more excited Lucas and I get! He's so happy I've agreed to find out the gender!
I wasn't going to think about names until fifteen weeks, but I looked through some old stuff, and there's this scrap book Lucas and I made on our future. We had a son and two little girls who were twins. I doubt that we're ever going to have twins, but the names are what I concentrated on. The boy was called Ethan Joshua, and the twins were Kate Elizabeth and Skye Isabella. I talked to Lucas about those names, and he agreed that we should stick to them. I don't know why, I guess it's just nice for our future to actually turn out the way we planned.
Talking earlier, we decided that we should have some other options just in case. We love Skye Isabella, but Kate Elizabeth has kinda grown old on us. Isabella is a nice name, and that's one of our top options. Ethan is such a nice name and we think we're definately set on that. The only other names we like are Jack, Jacob, and Leighton. Another girls name that we like is Olivia. I love that name, and think it's so sweet. But Lucas likes Lily Mae for a girl, and Ryan for a boy. I guess we won't have any definites until the baby is born, but once we know what Pickle is.. At least we'll have narrowed it down :)

News and updates.

My news is Lizzie and I have created our own new group for young mothers AND fathers! We meet up every Tuesday and Thursday. It's nothing fancy, just a helping type thing. First one is tomorrow! Excited! Ha :)
And the updates are;
My job is going well :) I actually really enjoyed it! I'm getting into writing a lot as well as art, so it's quite a good little job to have! I took a few books out to read in my free time, but I haven't got round to it yet. Everything just seems to be busy busy busy!
I'm thirteen weeks pregnant, and I wanna know the gender! I'm giving up. There's too many nice clothes on Mothercare's website! I just want to know now! On my twenty weeks ultrasound, I'm definitely finding out! I want to start thinking of names when I'm fifteen weeks. :)

It's sad.

I'm a believer in the theory that when someone is born, someone else dies. I'm not a particularly strong believer, but I think it happens more often than people think. This week has proved that.
As you all know, I mentioned two babies have been born. Well, if you are a friend of Kali's then you would have heard the news about what has happened in Wales. Two young boys have died. Neither over the age of fifteen.
One took his own life at thirteen, and the other died in a motorbike accident at fifteen. It's sad.
I guess Kali had to make some sacrifices for people I know to have babies, huh? My thoughts are with her at this sad time. And more importantly my prayers are with their families. I can't remember their names or the stories but if you ask Kali she might mention them. I'm not sure though because as you can imagine it's a touchy subject. I'm proud of her for staying strong. And her brother too, she says. <3

Job :)

I've got a part time job. I went to my local library after college today to pick up a few books that I need, and saw they needed a part-time assistant. So I asked for the details and asked if they wanted a CV. They said I'm the only offer they've had and they've been waiting for two weeks, so I got the job straight away! I start on Monday. Yay :)! I can actually put some money aside for Pickle now :D

Ultrasound.

I wasn't sure if I was going to put my ultrasound online, as safety is an issue for me. But I decided to tag it so I know it's safe. Once Pickle is born, my blogspot will become private. I'm sorry but I want to upload pictures, and the only way I can do that with at least a little piece of mind is by making sure I know all of the people viewing them.
